"Silver Lining" is the third in a series of four original mixed media acrylic paintings of which the first two have already been sold. This unique group of paintings represents my recent attempt to break the traditional 2D limits of "flat" artwork through a 3D planar representation to add to the illusion of depth.

This original painting of the world reknown Rossellini Ferrari 375 MM is comprised of four separate layers that float above each other in 3" deep aluminium framed and mated diorama. The steering wheel layer is made of real hand shaped wood to add to the illusion of realism. The entire piece "floats" securely in its' own elegant acid free matted enclosure with museum conservation quality glass, custom satin aluminium frame and is complimented by an official Ferrari enamelled shield set into the mat.
