"El Maestro" was an original painting inspired by the legendary world champion Juan Manuel Fangio. I have always been fascinated by the fluidity of movement and atmosphere that cars at speed convey during a race. "El Maestro" was an attempt to try and capture those elusive qualities of motion and light in a more abstract painting. My original intention was to capture the subject with loose, "painterly" techniques complimented by a vibrant and intense color palette as opposed to the often seen photo realistic techniques.
The limited edition canvas giclee of "El Maestro" comes printed on the finest, archival canvas suitable for stretching or traditional framing. The print is also coated with a clear, brushed on protective finish to enhance durability as well as imbue an additional painterly quality. Every print is signed and numbered by the artist and shipped within a special protective art tube.
