My very first automotive sculpture and still my favorite to this day. I love to work on a grand scale and “Heritage of Speed” certainly fit the bill.
The 1/4 scale hand-formed Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa rested upon a flowing “road” base that stood just over 4′ tall, 5′ wide and 3′ deep. It was constructed of undulating ribbons and shapes that appear to disintegrate off the car to emphasize movement and speed.
